Go on an authentic African Safari right in the middle of Walt Disney World. The Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers a guided tour of the African savannas where you can spot live animals. There are over 34 species living across 11 acres. See how many different species you can spot.

All Aboard Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios
There’s a new ride in the iconic Chinese Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and it just so happens to be the first ride in Disney history featuring the one and only Mickey Mouse! Join Mickey and Minnie on a zany adventure through a cartoon universe filled with surprises and even a new song! With Goofy as the train’s engineer, what could possibly go wrong!?
Take In the Floating Islands of Pandora
Whether your are a fan of James Cameron’s Avatar films or not, there’s nothing quite like the stunning floating islands found in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This land celebrates the magic of nature and at night becomes a bioluminescent wonderland. For those on the adventurous side, there’s also two attractions for you to enjoy in Pandora- The Na’vi River Journey and Avatar Flight of Passage.

End the Day on an Harmonious Note
EPCOT has an all new nighttime spectacular called Harmonious. This evening extravaganza has quickly become a family favorite and is on a scale like nothing that Disney has ever done before. The story weaves together vignettes from some of your favorite Disney and Pixar films into a celebration of the power of music and storytelling around the world. It features water projections, special effects, laser lights and more!

Reach for the Sky on Slinky Dog Dash
Live out your wildest adventures at Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This larger-than-life location shrinks you down to the size of one of the toys from Andy’s bedroom in the Toy Story films. Whether its enjoying the twists and turns of the new Slinky Dog Dash coaster or avoiding the claw in Alien Swirling Saucers this is a fully immersive playground for the senses. Oh, and save rooms for the gourmet pop tarts at Woody’s Lunch Box!

Shop Til You Drop at World of Disney
If you don’t feel like looking for Disney souvenirs while at the theme parks than World of Disney at Disney Springs can be your one-stop-shop. This is the ultimate shopping destinations for Disney fans and has the distinction of being the largest Disney store in the world! These is a great place to stock up on the EARidescent 50th Anniversary Collection of merchandise. You’ll find ears, apparel, plush dolls, housewares and more in these beautiful pastel hues.

Enjoy the Sand and Sun at Typhoon Lagoon
Surf is always up at Typhoon Lagoon where its a tropical paradise year round! There’s numerous ways for water enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Typhoon Lagoon is home to North America’s largest wave pool where you can even take surfing lessons. Families can also take the plunge with a wide array of water slides, raft rides, a lazy river and so much more. When we say its paradise, we’re not kidding.
Be Moved By The Magic Kingdom Fireworks
Top of most Disney bucket lists is the chance to check out Magic Kingdom’s incredible evening fireworks display with Cinderella Castle as a backdrop. For Disney World’s 50th Anniversary you’ll get to experience the all-new “Disney Enchantment” fireworks spectacular with its heart-felt messages of magic and empowerment. Immersive projection effects add an extra depth to the production and for the first time in Magic Kingdom history, they’re also extended down Main Street U.S.A. Wait until you see the view!
Tuck Into the Bakers Dozen at Whispering Canyon Café
We thought we’d sneak in a number 13 which is also known as a “Baker’s Dozen.” That’s why it’s only fitting that we’re featuring the a delectable array of breakfast treats at Whispering Canyon Cafe located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. There’s nothing quite like a Disney breakfast and this one definitely delivers with baked goods such as buttermilk-cheddar biscuits and Mickey-shaped waffles for breakfast, or freshly-baked cornbread for lunch and dinner, all served with hearty all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets for the whole family. Trust us when we say this will go down in history as one of your family’s favorite breakfasts!
