More Refurbishments at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!?
We’re having Deja Vu at Disney’s Contemporary Resort this afternoon!
During our visit to Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World we noticed that the lobby area has been curtained off.
As you can see, the entire area next to Steakhouse 71 is now off limits.
Signs are posted in the area advising of the closure.
Our MickeyBlogger Elyssa went on a fact-finding mission and was told that check-in has been temporarily moved to Bell Services and on the Second Floor.
As of going to print, the nature of the work being carried out is unclear.
If you’ll remember, the Contemporary Resort recently underwent a massive refurbishment.
This included updating all of the guest rooms which now feature an Incredibles theme.
In addition the lobby area was remodeled as was the adjacent restaurant which transitioned from The Wave…of American Flavors to Steakhouse 71.
We’ll continue to be on the lookout for updates to the project.
