Disney PhotoPass Adds St. Patrick’s Day Touch
The luck of the Irish appears to have descended on the Disney parks today in honor of St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Disney PhotoPass photographers at Walt Disney World Resort came equipped today with a number of thematic props to help tens of thousands mark the occasion as they make their theme park memories.
Mickey Mouse delights on one photo prop in a range of festive green hues that span from evergreen to emerald to lime. His hat is an especially darling touch as Mickey stands perched ready to dance.
This specific prop is a small circular option with a large rainbow leading to a traditional pot of gold. The four-leaf clover stands as a solid symbol of the day and sets off the “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” wishes swirled in Celctic font to the right.
We spotted this couple snapping keepsakes on the streets of Hollywood Studios. Luckily, for everyone capturing photographs today, the props can be found thorughout Disney Parks. We recommend finding Disney PhotoPass cast members near the front entrances of the parks for the best chance to snag the unique option.
Other St. Patrick’s Day News
Hopefully, the same good fortune and luck associated with the holiday transcends to park-goers today. The Spring Break crowds certainly made their presence known this morning at Hollywood Studios with many waits topping 100 minutes by around 10 a.m.
With a plethora of St. Patrick’s Day treats available, make sure to grab a festive beverage and snack prior to selecting the next attraction to tackle in the parks not only today but throughout the weekend. Crowds are expected to stay quite high over the next few weeks with Spring Breaks scattered over the next few weeks for school districts nation-wide.
