If you have been following along with MickeyBlog.com this week, you’ll no doubt be enjoying checking out all the delicious new treats which have cropped up across Walt Disney World resort this week, in celebration of the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day!
From cannolis to cocktails, there are so many seasonal treats to enjoy. Our next stop on our tour across the resort is over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where we heard of a fun new offering over at Captain Cook’s…
The newest item on the menu over at this awesome quick serve is the brand-new St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake. Let’s place our order, and check it out!
Here it is, and doesn’t this cupcake look especially adorable?
This dessert consists of a sweet vanilla cupcake, topped with a generous icing of chocolate and vanilla buttercream swirled together.
Two chocolate coin Mickey Ears peek out the top of the frosted mountain, and the whole cupcake is finished with a coating of shamrock-shaped sprinkles.
The cute little shamrocks even rained down onto our plate, making the cupcake look especially enticing as we sat down to take a bite!
As you can see from the photos, half of that frosting swirl is made up of green-colored buttercream.
Alongside the brown of the chocolate it may not look the most appetizing, but we assure you that it’s all sweetness on top of this cupcake!
This cupcake costs $5.99. Whether you’re staying at the Polynesian or just dropping by for a visit en-route to the Magic Kingdom, we definitely recommend swinging by Capt. Cook’s and checking out this adorable seasonal item!
