Let’s Go Inside The Butterfly House at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival
MickeyBlog is at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival where it is now time to visit one of my favorite places to go during the festival – The Butterfly House!
This is a very popular spot each Flower & Garden Fest. Today there was a queue to get in.
If you’ve noticed, this year the exhibit dubbed Bambi’s Butterfly House and outside you’ll find topiaries featuring some of your favorite friends from the film.
The entire area is tented off and the butterflies do fly freely as you wander around the tent.
Sometimes, if you’re not careful, they’ll even use you as a landing spot!
Here’s a look inside the tent. You’ll notice some butterflies resting along the wall. There’s also cutouts that keep the Bambi theme going!
This is a nice relaxing space and perfect for spending a bit of downtime.
There’s also information displayed throughout the the Butterfly House making this visit an educational one as well!
Many of the beautiful blooms in here are worthy of mention in their own right!
Butterflies are so tricky to photograph. However, we did manage to capture a few of these beauties flying around!
Check out those stunning black and yellow wings!
If you’re lucky, you may even see some butterflies emerging from their chrysalis!
Above is a butterfly that bl ends in so beautifully with the flowers and plants that it’s almost camouflage!
The butterfly house is only open until dusk each day.
If the Butterfly House is on your must-do list, we do recommend arriving early and be prepared for a bit of a queue!
If kids are taking time off school and need to come up with an educational project, this is a great place to visit!
We could honestly stay and look at these beautiful butterflies all day!
