Pixar’s Newest Film ‘Turning Red’ Teams Up With Panda Express for Meal and Sweepstakes
Now here is a collaboration that we can get on board with! In Celebration of Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red Movie Release on Disney+ March 11th, Panda Express is offering guests a chance to win a $10,000 Education Fund.
Under the Embrace Your Inner Panda Sweepstakes, guests could win a $10,000 education fun, year’s supply of Panda Cub Meals, movie-themed prices and more! Turning Red is Pixar’s first feature with a main character who Asian, making it a natural fit for a collaboration between the film and Panda Express which is an immigrant founded brand with a distinct Chinese-American identity.
So how can you center? Through April 1, 2022, guests that order a Panda Cub Meal and keep a copy of their receipt can visit www.EmbraceYourInnerPanda.com to enter for a chance to win prizes valued between $188 and $10,000, as well as learn more about the official rules, free method of entry and detailed prize descriptions.
One grand prize winner will receive the $10,000 education fund. Eight first prize winners will receive a year’s supply of Panda Club Meals and an exclusive gift basket with gear from Panda Express and Turning Red. Eight second prize winners will also receive a $100 check and $88 Panda Express gift card!
To further celebrate this awesome collaboration, and the release of Turning Red on Disney+ on March 11th, Panda and Pixar created an exclusive Turning Red Panda Cub meal featuring unique packaging and sticker sheet. For those unfamiliar, Panda introduced the new Panda Cub Meals in 2021.
Pixar’s Turning Red will introduce Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year old torn between being the dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective mother Ming (voiced by Sandra Oh) is never far from her daughter. As changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited she “POOFS” into a giant red panda!
The film is directed by Academy Award winner Domee Shi (Pixar short Bao) and produced by Lindsey Collings. The film streams exclusively on Disney+ beginning March 11, 2022. You can check out the official trailer below:
