Guess who is bouncing back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! You guessed it! Grey kangaroos return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, and we are jumping for joy!

Leap on Over to Animal Kingdom

Now, you can meet a joey named Buckeye, as well as his mother named Millie. They are adorable and will surely be loved by Cast Members and Guests alike!

Buckeye and Millie came to Disney’s Animal Kingdom from another accredited institution due to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Plan. Therefore, all of us can learn more about grey kangaroos now.

Thankfully, Animal Kingdom Cast Members will learn more about how to keep grey kangaroos in tip-top shape since they work with the Species Survival Plan. Primarily, Cast Members and doctors aim to keep their grey kangaroos healthy and genetically diverse.

Dr. Mark Penning posted on Instagram about Buckeye and Millie coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Truly, he is excited about their addition to the Animal Kingdom family.

So, did you know that a group of grey kangaroos is called a mob? Now, look for Buckeye, Millie, and the rest of the grey kangaroos return to Discovery Island.
