2. What Are the Costume Guidelines For My Galactic Starcruiser Stay?
Part of the whole Galactic Starcruiser experience is living out your Star Wars adventure aboard the Halcyon. With this in mind, guests are encouraged to dress the part with outfits and costumes. However, there are specific requirements to consider as you prepare the wardrobe for your trip.
Aboard the Starcruiser
Here are the costume policies for while you are onboard the Starcruiser:
Costumes that may distract from the experience of other Guests are not permitted.
All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but they may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
Costumes may not contain any props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
Acceptable accessories include transparent wings, plastic lightsabers, toy swords and tutus. Costume headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
Guests ages 13 and under may wear some costume masks; masks may not cover the entire face and must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.
Costume masks of any kind may not be worn by Guests ages 14 and older.
Costumes, like full-length robes, may not reach or drag on the ground.
Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
3. Where Can I user my Star Wars Quick Service Dining Credits:
Guests going on a Starcruiser journey have quick service credits that can be used at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With this in mind, Disney recommends that you enjoy your meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, where you can enjoy a variety of dishes crafted with ingredients from across the galaxy, expertly prepared by Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs. However, the choice of where to eat is up to you!
4. Are MagicBands used on board Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?
MagicBands are still recommended. You can use them to interact with sensors (called access points) onboard the Halcyon as well as throughout Walt Disney World. They also have a wide range of common uses including unlocking hotel rooms, connecting Disney PhotoPass images to your account and charging food and merchandise purchases to your room on your home planet!
Guests should remember: Galactic Starcruiser voyages receive exclusive MagicBands as part of their vacation package.

7. What services and accessibility options are available for Guests with disabilities on a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser?
Accessibility options are available for guests with disabilities including wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Though pets are not allowed, service animals are also permissible.
With the Starcruiser being themed like a cruise, many guests are wondering whether you’ll be required to dine with other guests at your table. It should be noted that Disney will make every attempt to seat all members from your cabin at the same table. However, seating assignments are designed to fill in all available spaces so you are likely to be seated at table with other parties when dining at the Crown of Corellia Dining Room.
9. During my Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser planet excursion, can I visit areas of Disney’s Hollywood Studios beyond Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?
Yes. You can leave Galaxy’s Edge if you’d prefer to explore other attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Transport shuttles run continuously from Galaxy’s Edge back to the Starcruiser. The last transport shuttle of the day departs at 4:00 pm so you should plan on being back at Galaxy’s Edge by that time at the latest. s
10. Do I need to make a park reservation using the Disney Park Pass system to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios during my Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyage?
Park pass reservations are not required to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Rather, the planet excursion is is part of your total Galactic Starcruiser vacation package.
11. Am I Expected To Tip During My Star Wars Visit?
The cost of your Galactic Starcruiser booking includes gratuities for food service. It DOES NOT include gratuities for valet parking, cabin or suite cleaning. Tips in these situations are customary. Disney recommends that you tip at the time of service rather than at the end like you would on a cruise ship.
12. How is the Star Wars Datapad Different From My Disney Experience?
You may have heard us mention the Star Wars: Datapad as part of your Galactic Starcruiser visit. We recommend that you download the Play Disney Parks app before your visit (in addition to My Disney Experience.) From Play Disney Parks App you can access the Datapad. Here you’ll find your personalized itinerary and communications from the crew and others you encounter during your adventure.
The Star Wars: Datapads will allow you to make choices throughout your voyage, receive communication and may be invited to a secret meeting!?
To make sure that you have access to Star Wars: Datapad, please remember to download the Play Disney Parks app—as well as the My Disney Experience app—on your personal device before you arrive at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Terminal.
