EPCOT Is Getting Ready for the Flower and Garden Festival
February is a short month which means that it won’t be long now until EPCOT is in full Flower & Garden Festival mode! This year’s festival will run from March 2nd – July 4, 2022 and already we are seeing signs of this celebration of flowers, plants, horticulture, and more!
Just check out these awesome photos that we took this afternoon.
As we strolled around the World Showcase we noticed that some of the incredible topiaries are already on display in the gardens.
Check out Winnie the Pooh and Rabbit at the UK Pavilion.
Pooh is looking so cute with his bright red balloon and Hunny pot.
Rabbit seems to have done well and is showing off two handfuls of bright orange carrots.
The flower bed itself is also vibrant with beautiful yellow blossoms and greenery.
We also bumped into Tick-Tock Croc.
He sits amongst a bed of bright blue flowers to mimic the ocean.
Not to far away is this awesome topiary display featuring Captain Hook and Peter Pan.
The details on these topiaries are absolutely fantastic!
We love that you can see the World Showcase Lagoon just behind them!
They are surrounded by lots of greenery with a few orange blossoms already peeking out.
Some of our favorite Flower and Garden blooms are located under the monorail.
Look at this scene of orange, yellow, purple and red blooms.
You can even see a Minnie Mouse icon!
Since it’s Disney’s 50th Anniversary year, a 50 has been worked into the blooms.
Joining Minnie a solid black Mickey Mouse icon.
This is definitely a fantastic photo spot for those visiting during the Festival.
Here’s a look at the flower beds as you leave Future World and head into the World Showcase.
They add such a phenomenal splash of color!
We expect more transformations to take place in the weeks ahead as EPCOT readies for its next festival.
