Lightning Lane Signage Now added To Backstage Magic With Mickey
Earlier this morning we shared the news that Princess Fairytale Hall has recently added Genie+/Lightning Lane signage to their Princess Meet and Greets at the Magic Kingdom. Now we can report that the same has happened for Backstage Magic with Mickey.
This character encounter with the one-and-only Mickey Mouse takes place in his dressing room at the Town Square Theater which is located right as you enter Magic Kingdom theme park.
As you can see from these images taken this morning there are now two queues for the meet and greet. One is for stand-by and the other for Lightning Lane.
For those unfamiliar, under the new Genie+ system guests pay $15 per person per day for Lightning Lane access to some of your favorite rides and attractions. Disney has recently opened this up for select character meet and greets including the Princesses at Fairytale Hall, Olaf at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and now Mickey!
We expect more options to be added to the new Genie+ service in the weeks and months ahead. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with us for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
