Spotlight On: Kids Activities at Boardwalk’s Community Hall!
It’s becoming rarer and rarer to find complimentary things to do at Walt Disney World. It’s even more rare to happen upon multiple activities that aren’t only free of charge, but are a ton of fun too!
Complimentary Fun!
Games
At the Boardwalk’s Community Hall, fun is the name of the game and they’ve got every type of game you can dream up.
An epic Star-Wars themed pinball machine grabs your eye the second you walk through the doors. In the same area, you’ll find a full-size air hockey and foosball tables just waiting for you to challenge your family.
Video games are also included in the activities here too!

Wii gaming area
They’ve got both a PS4 and Wii with tons of games to choose from- just ask a Cast Member for the controllers when you’re ready to play.

Movies
Disney movies are always playing at the Boardwalk Community Hall.
If it’s an extremely hot or chilly day when your trip falls, you can take a rest in the air-conditioned Community Hall, sink into the big couch, and relax along with your favorite Disney movie characters!
Painting Activities
If you’re willing to spend a few dollars, the painting activities are some of the most unique and inexpensive pieces of Disney memorabilia to take home.
You can paint everything from an array of ceramic magnets (for just $5!) to a Nemo plate or Lightning McQueen piggy bank!
You get to choose your colors and your paint brush once you decide on your ceramic, and you’re encouraged to be creative! The cool thing about the ceramics here is that once you’re done painting, the ceramics stay behind to get glazed!
TIP: If you’re planning to paint a ceramic, make sure to do it early in your vacation so you allot enough time for glazing…and to go back to pick it up!
If ceramic aren’t your thing, Boardwalk Community Hall has you covered!
You can choose to paint everything from umbrellas to adorable buttons (for just $1!) all without having to leave Walt Disney World Property. The activities here are open to ALL guests of WDW, so don’t hesitate to visit the Boardwalk Community Hall on your next trip!
