2022 Special Olympics USA Games Opening Ceremony Will Be Produced By Disney
The 2022 Special Olympics will be taking place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World from June 5 – 12, 2022. Yesterday, Walt Disney World made the very special announcement that Disney Live Entertainment will be producing the Opening Ceremony that welcomes athletes, families and fans!

Disney has had a long-standing relationship with the Special Olympics. This includes sponsorship and in-kind support for the USA games as well as helping to stage multiple state and local events at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
In addition, Disney is the sponsor of Volunteer Programs for the 2022 Special Olympic USA Games where the company will support families and fans with cast members and community volunteers lending their time and service.
In the video above, participants included Special Olympics USA, Experience Kissimmee and Walt Disney World. This Opening Ceremony announcement was made during the Special Olympics USA Games’ Head of Delegates meeting which also took place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
