Lemon Bar Churro: A Perfect Citrus Seasonal Delight
If there is any snack that is unanimous with Disneyland Resort, it’s the churro. Today, while checking out the wealth of delicious and unique foods and beverages featured this year during the Lunar New Year festivities at Disney California Adventure Park, MickeyBloggers also found the churro of all churros for citrus fans: the Lemon Bar Churro.
The true pièce de résistance though comes with the final tart lemon drizzle that covers the entire treat in a decorative swirl.
The churro also receives a dusting of standard powdered sugar to add sweet balance to the tangy lemon curd glaze. Available $6.75, the lemon bar churro is just one of many treats available at the Churro Cart near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Other Tasty (Lunar New Year) Treats
Throughout the day today, MickeyBloggers checked out a wide array of treats offered throughout the Lunar New Year festivities at the park. Located at Paradise Gardens Park, this year’s Lunar New Year Marketplaces offer guests a range of Asian-inspired treats to sample.
We especially loved the Mickey Chinese Hot Dog Bun and the Lychee Celebration available at Properity Bao & Buns. With a variety of foods inspired by Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine, the Sip and Savor Pass definitely ranks high on our list of things to do this winter at Disneyland Resort. The festival began on January 21st and runs through February 13th.
Those who purchase the Sip and Savor Pass receive a special credential and six coupons for offerings at the marketplaces.
