Everything You Need To Know About Disney’s All Star Movies Resort
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog, you’ll know that I LOVE Disney’s All-Star Resorts. Just last week I did a run-through of the awesomeness of Disney’s All Star Music Resort and tonight, I thought I’d do the same for Disney’s All Star Movies! This All-Star property is probably the most popular due to its movie theming and central Fantasia pool but that’s not all you’ll find here.
Theming
All Star Movies is a celebration of Disney films with whimsical larger-than-life décor. Just like All-Star Music, the property is divided up into themed sections but here each section represents a Disney film. This includes Toy Story, Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, The Mighty Ducks and Herbie the Love Bug!
Location
All Star Movies is located in the Animal Kingdom area of Walt Disney World.
Transportation
Transportation to and from the theme parks as well as Disney Springs is strictly by Walt Disney World Resort bus.

Room Types
There are tow different types of rooms available to book at Disney’s All Star Movie Resort. These are as follows:
- Standard Room
- 1 Queen Bed, 1 Queen-Size Table Bed,
- Sleeps up to Four Adults,
- Views of Courtyard, Pool or Parking Areas
- Preferred Room
- 1 Queen Bed and 1 Queen-Size Table Bed
- Sleeps Up To Four Adults
- Close to Cinema Hall, Dining, Shopping and Transportation
Rooms at Disney’s All-Star Resorts have benefitted from a recent renovation which includes new layouts, wood laminate floors, updated furniture and artwork and more!

Food & Beverage
All the dining hits can be found at World Premiere Food Court! This quick-service dining location has a food court set-up with stations featuring your favorite American fare. Mobile ordering is also available at this location.
Those looking to unwind poolside can do so at Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar. Located next to the main Fantasia Pool you’ll find an impressive beverage menu with beer, wine and spirits!
Swimming Pools
All Star Movies is home to two fabulous swimming pools. The first is the main pool area known as the Fantasia Pool. It is located near Cinema Hall and has a Fantasia theme complete with dancing brooms and a Sorcerer Mickey water feature in the center. . The pool is heated. Life preservers and towels are available poolside. The Cinema Pool is also handicapped accessible. There is a kiddie pool located nearby.

In addition, there is also the Duck Pond Pool which has a Mighty Duck/Hockey theme This pool is also heated. Life vests and towels are available and the pool is handicapped accessible. This tends to be the quieter of the two pools and is a great spot to relax and unwind.

Additional Amenities
- Movies Under the Stars – Grab a blanket and head to the courtyard to watch a Disney film under the stars. Movie schedules are posted at the resort with different films showing throughout your stay!
- Jogging Trail – Keep up your running routine with a 1 mile course that stretches through all three of Disney’s All-Star properties.
- Reel Fun Arcade – Filled with a wide array of awesome video games.
- Campfire Activities- From roasting marshmallows to telling stories keep an eye on the entertainment schedule for special campfire-focused programs!
Shopping
Donald’s Double Feature is the gift shop located in the Cinema Hall of All-Star Movies near the World Premiere Food Court. Here you’ll find a wide array of souvenirs, Disney merchandise, non-perishable treats, sundries and more!

Pricing
As one of Disney’s Value Resort properties, pricing at Disney’s All-Star Movie Resort tends to be among the most reasonable that Disney has to offer. Currently rooms for Spring 2022 start at around $150 and go up to the $350+ range a night for family suites. The property is also regularly included in Disney discount offers so you may be able to get some additional savings!
