VIDEO: Disney World Visitor Lashes Out at Cast Member for Moving Her Stroller
Here at MickeyBlog, we love Disney Cast Members and understand that they are tirelessly working to make our visits extra magical. We are huge advocates of letting cast members know when they have added a bit of pixie dust to your day and there are even ways to leave Cast Member compliments using the My Disney Experience app.
At a time when new systems have been put into place to keep guests safe, with many cast members having been out of work at some point over the past few years and with the pandemic still looming, it’s as important as every to let our cast members know they are doing an awesome job. That’s why videos like the one below make us feel a little bit sad.
There is a post currently going viral on TikTok of a visitor to the Magic Kingdom, lashing out at a cast member for moving her stroller which she parked in a busy Fantasyland thoroughfare while enjoying a nearby attraction. Now as anyone that has visited Disney with a stroller knows, there are designated areas to park strollers which are maintained by hard working cast members. These cast members will occasionally shuffle strollers around to maximize space, keep strollers in a designated area and to stop them from obstructing walkways. However, the strollers if they are moved are always kept in the general vicinity, it may just take some looking.
However, that wasn’t good enough for one visitor who became enraged when an attendant moved her stroller:

The video was recorded by TikTok user @maddiesraddie. In the video the guest can be seen screaming at and recording a cast member trying to explain the stroller policy to her.
Though this visitor had the cameras rolling, we suspect her Magic Kingdom meltdown didn’t have the effect that she wanted with many viewers using this as a perfect example of some of the difficult situations that cast members are forced to go through in a day.
The woman could be heard shouting “Don’t touch my stroller” before adding “It does not say no stroller parking! If you’re gonna move my stroller, than you stand there and you let me know you moved my stroller.”
In a move that turns the table in a positive way on, some TikTok users were quick to identify the cast member as Shawn and praised him for staying cool and calm in such a tense situation. According to a report on Fox35, one commenter even wrote, “If someone knows Shawn, please let him know I’d like to buy him dinner!”
Hats off to Shawn and to all of our Disney cast members who work hard to make the magic happen every day! If you’re visiting the parks in the days and weeks ahead remember, treat everyone (cast members included) as you’d like to be treated!
