Temperatures Plummet To 30s and 40s in Central Florida This Morning
So Queen Elsa must be busy practicing those icy powers of hers because it is COLD! If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that we’ve been covering the current cold snap in Central Florida that started on Sunday night and is still going strong. Meteorologists were predicting temperatures in the 30s and 40s throughout central Florida this morning.

According to a piece in the Orlando Sentinel today, temperatures before sunrise were 42 degrees. Though temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 60s by this afternoon, those heading to Walt Disney World bright and early this morning are going to want to layer up!
And that’s not the last of the cold Orlando weather, forecasters are predicting that temperatures will fall back down to 45 degrees by the evening.

Yesterday, we shared the news that Disney World opted to keep its water park Typhoon Lagoon closed today due to the cooler temperatures.
As you can see, the water park is expected to be open for its normal business hours starting tomorrow. However, should this change further we’ll keep you posted.

Things begin to look up as we head into the second weekend of the EPCOT international Festival of the Arts as temperatures are expected to rise going into Friday with a high of 79 degrees!
