Get The Most Out Of Your All Star Music Visit
I have a confession. I have had the privilege of staying at a number of resorts across Walt Disney World and all different price points and I keep coming back to All Star Music. I’ve always felt that there’s so much to love about this value property from updated rooms and friendly staff to fun theming and great value.
With that in mind, I thought I’d follow the lead of Disney Parks Blog with their Pocket Guides and share details about this awesome property with you!
Theming
All Star Music is as the name suggests all about music lovers. The property is split up into sections based on musical genres including Calypso, Country, Broadway, and Rock and Jazz.
Each of the sections features large-sized music-inspired icons outside and some additional song and dance surprises inside!
Transportation
All three Disney All Star Resort properties are located in the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Resort Area. Transportation to and from the theme parks is strictly by Walt Disney World Resort bus.
Room Types
There are three different types of rooms available to book at Disney’s All Star Music Resort. These are as follows:
- Standard Room
- 1 Queen Bed, 1 Queen-Size Table Bed,
- Sleeps up to Four Adults,
- Views of Courtyard, Pool or Parking Areas
- Preferred Room
- 1 Queen Bed and 1 Queen-Size Table Bed
- Sleeps Up To Four Adults
- Close to melody Hall, Dining, Shopping and Transportation
- Family Suites
- 1 Queen Bed and 2 Queen-Size Pull Down Beds
- Sleeps Up To Six Adults
- Views of Courtyard, Pool or Parking Area.
Rooms at Disney’s All-Star Resorts have benefitted from a recent renovation which includes new layouts, wood laminate floors, updated furniture and artwork and more! Family suites also include a living area with a kitchenette and two bathrooms.
Food & Beverage
All the dining hits can be found at Intermission Food Court! This quick-service dining location has a food court set-up with stations featuring your favorite American fare. Mobile ordering is also available at this location.
Those looking to indulge in a drink poolside can do so at Singing Spirits Pool Bar. Located next to the main Calypso Pool you’ll find an impressive beverage menu with beer, wine and spirits!
Swimming Pools
All Star Music is home to two fabulous swimming pools. The first is the main pool area known as the Calypso Pool. It is located near Melody Hall and has a Three Caballeros theme featuring Donald Duck, Jose and Panchito. These three are located in the middle of a guitar shaped pool and their fountain shoots out water to the surprise of nearby swimmers. The pool is heated. Life preservers and towels are available poolside. The Calypso Pool is also handicapped accessible. There is a kiddie pool located nearby.
In addition, there is also the Piano Pool so named because it is shaped like a piano complete with black and white keys. You’ll find this pool in the middle of the Rock, Jazz, Broadway and Country Fair Sections of the resort. This pool is also heated. Life vests and towels are available and the pool is handicapped accessible.

Additional Amenities
- Movies Under the Stars – Grab a blanket and head to the courtyard to watch a Disney film under the stars. Movie schedules are posted at the resort with different films showing throughout your stay!
- Jogging Trail – Keep up your running routine with a 1 mile course that stretches through all three of Disney’s All-Star properties.
- Playground – Kids can burn off that excess energy at this play park near the Jazz section of the resort.
- Note’able Games Arcade – Filled with a wide array of awesome video games.
- Campfire Activities- From roasting marshmallows to telling stories keep an eye on the entertainment schedule for special campfire-focused programs!
Shopping
Maestro Mickey’s is the gift shop located in the main hall of All-Star Music near the Intermission Food Court. Here you’ll find a wide array of souvenirs, Disney merchandise, non-perishable treats, sundries and more!

Pricing
As one of Disney’s Value Resort properties, pricing at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort tends to be among the most reasonable that Disney has to offer. Currently rooms for Spring 2022 start at around $150 and go up to the $350+ range a night for family suites. The property is also regularly included in Disney discount offers so you may be able to get some additional savings!
