Figment Popcorn Bucket Line Lasts During Night
Yesterday, Guests of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts waited for up to 8 hours (or more) for the Figment popcorn bucket. In fact, the Figment popcorn bucket line lasted well into the night, proving this item is THE merchandise of the festival!
Continuous Demand
As you can see, Disney Cast Members have boxes upon boxes of these popcorn buckets ready to sell. Also, so far, they have not sold out, which is pretty amazing!
Pop Eats…Popular Nowadays
Pop Eats sells the popular popcorn buckets during the festival. At this time, this is the only location selling the must-have merchandise…who knows if another stand will sell the Figment popcorn buckets to help with the long line?
Here, you can see the “Pop Eats, Line Starts Here” sign. Spaceship Earth is very visible in the background of the picture, which shows that the beginning of the line is somewhat close to the front of the park.
Will the Buckets Last?
So, considering that the line was this long all throughout the day and night, we can’t help but wonder how many Figment popcorn buckets Disney sold yesterday. Our guess is at least 10,000 buckets, maybe even more!
Here is a video of Cast Members selling Figment popcorn buckets 30 minutes after EPCOT closed last night. Cast Members remained hard at work, and Guests continued to wait in the Figment popcorn bucket line deep into the night.
Why So Much Popularity?
One question that has been posed is, “Do people really care this much about Figment?” Obviously, yes! After all, Figment has a sense of nostalgia for adults, and children love his personality and charm!
Regardless of your opinion on Figment, or Disney merchandise in general, the fact is these popcorn buckets are highly coveted by thousands of people. Hopefully, Disney will continue to have enough supply for the demand, and I am very curious to see if (or when) they sell out.
