After that, Rogerson will move to the Canada Pavillion in World Showcase to share his incredible talents with EPCOT guests. His schedule includes times almost every day of the festival with the week of January 31st and the week of February 18th excluded as well as January 27th and 28th.
More Inspiration for the Artist
The contemporary artist won acclaim over the past decades with his unique and modern twist on Disney and Marvel characters.
“My paintings are like a jigsaw puzzle with each piece being its own artistic movemen. One puzzle piece might be a row of vertical lines inspired by Lichtenstein next to another puzzle piece of impressionistic brushstrokes inspired by Monet. It’s a playground of styles and influences that all come together to capture these colorful characters we all love so dear,” Rogerson says of his work in his bio.
The son of a former Walt Disney World Show Director, Rogerson actually grew up in North Carolina before returning to Orlando. “My father taught me how to draw Mickey as soon as I could hold a pencil and I’ve wanted to be a Disney artist ever since,” Rogerson says in his bio.
