Affordable Summer Walt Disney World Vacations
If the cold weather, snow, or gray skies have you down what better thing to do than plan your summer vacation. Walt Disney World just dropped some amazing discounts for spring and summer travel this week.
Some families feel that Disney is unaffordable, but these are some amazing deals for June 2022 that families should not miss. Walt Disney World offers affordable summer vacations.

Resorts
Walt Disney World is separated into three resort categories: value, moderate, and deluxe. The value resorts offer the most affordable options for families but do not have some services such as a water slide or table service restaurant.
Moderate resorts offer a table service restaurant, larger rooms, more amenities, and a pool slide. Deluxe resorts offer multiple restaurants, more amenities, the largest rooms, and typically a better location in proximity to the parks.
Sample Families
I wanted to price a variety of sample families to give people an idea on pricing for a 5 night vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. Sample Family 1 had two adults and two kids ages 8 and 4. I priced 5 nights in June (12-17) with the new Special Offer of up to $500 off of 5 nights or more. Florida residents and Annual Passholders can save even more.
Sample Family 2 had two adults and 3 children ages 13, 12, and 5. Sample Family 3 consisted of two adults.
Value Resorts
For the purpose of this article, I priced some sample vacations for families in June to compare at the value resorts.
The value resorts that were available on those dates were All Star Sports and Music and Pop Century. All of the options included 5 nights and 4 day park tickets.
The first family at All Star Sports and Music would spend $2,724.16 for a standard view room. The same family would spend a little more at Pop Century $2939.68 but would also have Skyliner access.
The second family could stay in a family suite at Art of Animation for $5097.75. The second family could also split into two standard rooms at the All Stars Resort for $4263.46 and Pop Century for $4263.46.

The third family with two adults could stay at both All Stars for $1790.58 or Pop Century for $2006.10.
Moderate Resorts
The dates that I priced had two moderate resorts available with the promotion, Coronado Springs and Port Orleans Riverside. The cabins at Fort Wilderness were also available.
The first family would spend $3575.32 at Coronado Springs and $3659.68 at Port Orleans Riverside. The cabins at Fort Wilderness were available for $4216.56.
The second family of 5 would be able to access the discount in the Fort Wilderness Cabins that sleep 6 for $4720.87.
Port Orleans Riverside and Caribbean Beach sleep 5 but the 5th sleeper rooms were not available on those particular dates.

The third family could stay at Coronado Springs for $2517.98, Port Orleans Riverside for $2546.10, or Port Orleans French Quarter for $2990.48.
Deluxe Resorts
The deluxe resorts that were available at the time I priced the sample vacations were Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, and Boardwalk Inn.
The first family would spend $3924.06 at Animal Kingdom Lodge in a standard view room. Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort with savannah animals unlike anything else in the United States.
The same family would spend $5482.18 at Grand Floridian and $5515.84 at Boardwalk Inn.
Grand Floridian provides a walking trail and monorail access to Magic Kingdom. The Boardwalk is within walking and boat distance to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The second family could stay at Grand Floridian for $5986.49 or at the Boardwalk Inn for $6020.25.
The third family would spend $2990.48 at Animal Kingdom Lodge, $4548.60 at Grand Floridian, or $4582.36 at Boardwalk Inn.

Promotions
Walt Disney World is also offering room only discounts of up to 20% for Florida Residents and up to 25% for annual passholders. Both deals are limited and should be booked soon to lock in the promotion rate. Walt Disney World is affordable for summer vacation options.
