EPCOT Reaching Out To Guests After Dropping Virtual Queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
If you were following along with us here at MickeyBlog you may have seen the news this week that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT will be doing away with the Virtual Queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Instead, the attraction will be joining the ranks of other Lightning Lane rides at EPCOT.
With this in mind, EPCOT is reaching out to guests with EPCOT theme park reservations to let them know of the important change. Here’s a look below at the email that is going out:
As you can see from the details above, starting on January 10th, there will be NO MORE virtual queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Rather the ride will be shifting to Disney’s standard stand-by queue system.
This means that guests will now have a couple of options when it comes to riding this attraction. You can wait in the stand-by line which is included in the cost of your EPCOT admission ticket. Alternatively you can also purchase access to a Lightning Lane Queue at this attraction. There is no word yet on how much Disney will be charging for the individual Lightning Lane access to Remy’s.
Disney reserves the right to return to a virtual queuing system in the future but at the moment it looks like Remy’s new Stand-by/Lightning Lane policy is here to stay.
Visitors to Disney World in 2022 are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary Disney Genie service NOW available via your My Disney Experience Account. Through the apps new functionality visitors will have the ability to purchase Lightning Lane entry to individual attractions at an extra cost (usually between $8 – $18 per person, per ride)
