For those unfamiliar, this new original film follows 13 year old Mei Lee. She is a confident but dorky teenager who is wrapped up in the chaos of adolescence while still trying to be the dutiful daughter. During a time where it feels like everything is changing (her relationships, interests and body) Mei Lee also finds herself “poofing” into a giant red panda during rather inconvenient times!
The film will feature voice work from Rosalie Chiang (Mei Lee) and Sandra Oh (Mei Lee’s protective mother.) The project is the brain child of Pixar Story artist Domee Shi who has previously one over audiences with her delightful short film Bao which appeared before Incredibles 2. The film is produced by Lindsey Collins
