Spider-Man Continues to Soar Earning $1.37 Billion at the Box Office
The world is still enamored with Peter Parker and the gang as we head into 2022! Spider-Man: No Way Home continues its meteoric box office rise and is estimated to have brought in $1.37 billion globally! this is due to additional earnings of $78.3 million over the past weekend!

According to a recent piece in Deadline, the film became the No. 1 film of 2021 worldwide last week as well as the top movie for Hollywood overseas! This includes over $609.89 million at the domestic box office also giving the film the distinction of being the 10th-hightest grossing movie EVER at the domestic box office beating out Incredibles 2. It is only a mere $8 million away from beating The Last Jedi which in 2009 brought in a cool $620.1 million.)

It’s obvious from these figures that the film continues to do well with overseas markets with UK revenue up 25% over last weekend for a grand total of $92.4 million. In Mexico the film brought in $64.9 million and in France, Spider-Man had a $50.2 million run!
Oh, and let’s not forget IMAX! According to DEADLINE the IMAX version of the film has earned $83.1 million worldwide with $30.7 of that being overseas!
Insiders will be watching closely as the film officially hits the Japanese market on Friday of this week!
