2021 started off as a year of change and uncertainty.
Companies maneuvered through a global pandemic and navigated never-before-seen challenges. Many programs and businesses shifted including Disney Programs.
As 2021 comes to a close, Disney Programs looks back, reflects, and celebrates a year of successes!
The Disney College Program
One year later, the Disney College program relaunched. It offers a streamlined application process and information sessions.
It also offers participants expanded opportunities and more date options to select.
The New Flamingo Crossings Village

New college program participants are the first to live in a new housing community. The Flamingo Crossings Village(next to the Walt Disney World Resort) is a home away from home.
It offers pristine pools, a state of the art fitness center, awesome rooms and upgraded safety features.
A Times Square Surprise

The first class of UNCF Corporate Scholars and 2021 summer professional interns got a surprise this summer. The 400 interns were featured on a Times Square super sign.
The special moment was broadcast outside of the Good Morning America Studio!
40th Anniversary of Disney College Program

The Disney College program celebrates 40 years. To honor the exciting anniversary, Disney shared six legacy stories of current and former participants.
These inspiring stories showed the power of Disney magic and Disney’s impact on their lives! These stories inspired participants throughout the year.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Over 58 College Program participants were selected to open the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Star cruiser experience.
They were invited to a surprise reveal and participated in a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

In November, Disney College Program participants experienced a unique private event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Participants were honored with a special party featuring their favorite attractions, DJs, dancing, characters, and more! What an amazing treat for these invaluable Cast Members!
