Celebrate New Year’s Eve and make your way into 2022 with Magic Kingdom’s ‘Fantasy In the Sky’ fireworks live courtesy of Disney Parks Blog.
For the first time since New Year’s Eve 2019, ‘Fantasy In the Sky’ will be lighting up the skies all around the park after Disney decided to skip the festivities last year due to the pandemic.
‘Fantasy In the Sky’ offers dazzling fireworks with a soundtrack of beloved Disney music found from within the parks and their animated classics.
Featured songs include Grim Grinning Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion attraction, Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid, with the show kicking off to The Second Star to the Right from Peter Pan.
Disney Parks Blog acknowledged that the current Park Pass reservation system will be limiting those who had planned to enjoy the celebration within the Magic Kingdom itself and hope those who cannot see the spectacular tune in instead.
Since so many cannot be here for the display, we hope people worldwide will join us virtually to count down to the start of 2022 with a delightful dose of Disney magic for the entire family.
This also follows last year, in which the Walt Disney Company decided to only live stream the firework spectacular as fireworks had still not made their return to the Disney Parks by New Year’s Eve 2020.
