Bob Iger Thanks Walt Disney World Cast Members During Recent Visit
Bob Iger’s time at the Disney helm may be over but that didn’t stop the former CEO from squeezing in one last holiday visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” Several Walt Disney World spottings of Iger where cropping up on social media this week and the exec all but confirmed them on Twitter this morning.
Reports started surfacing this week that Bob Iger was spotted at Disney’s Beach Club Resort however, whether he was actually staying at the EPCOT property during his visit remains uncertain. However, what we do know is that wherever he was staying he had a wonderful time. Iger took to social media to thank Disney World’s hardworking cast members for making his December visit so magical.
However, he did make a small error in his post. See if you can spot it!
Here’s Iger’s original message above. In it, Iger mentions that he just spent three days at Walt Disney World and what makes him so proud of The Walt Disney Company are the cast members. He went on to give a heartfelt thank you to cast members for taking such good care of him over the years closing up his post saying “I am deeply grateful to all of you!”
Did you spot the error? If you look closely you can see that instead of thanking “The Walt Disney Company” Iger thanked @twdc. If you follow this link you’ll find that it is actually the Twitter account for The Water Delivery Co. OOPS.
Just spent 3 days @WaltDisneyWorld & was reminded (yet again) what makes me so proud of @disney…our cast members! Thanks for taking care of me all these years. Thanks for your talent, your commitment & the gratitude you expressed. I am deeply grateful to all of you!

However, the lovely sentiment was definitely there and it didn’t take long before Iger realized his error and amended the tweet above!
Bob Iger’s departure has been the subject of much speculation as of late with one media executive even predicting that he would stay on at the company to help it recover further during the pandemic with insiders saying that his successor Bob Chapek may not be thriving in his current role.
