Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris is Undergoing a Regal Transformation
We’ve got some exciting news to share with you today out of Disneyland Paris! The Disneyland Hotel, the flagship icon at located near the entrance to Disneyland Paris theme park is currently under refurbishment.
Since the announcement regarding the update to this beloved property was made last April, teams have been hard at work emptying the hotel of it’s furniture. Rumor has it that some of the pieces that will no longer be in use were given to dedicated cast members. In addition over 1,500 furniture pieces were donated to three organizations supporting local communities!
This refurbishment is another example of Disneyland Paris’ strategy to enhance guest experiences through innovation and commitment to excellence. More Disney franchises and storytelling will be woven into this 5-star hotel. Once the renovation is complete, guests can expect a renewed immersive experience.
According to Disney, the property will have a royal theme and will be home to many Disney Princesses and Princes. Changes will include updated rooms and suites that draw their inspiration from animated classics like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. Elements will also celebrate more recent animated classics like Tangled and Frozen.
We’re also told that many areas of this grand hotel will be upgraded and redesigned to offer “enhanced” accommodation and upgraded technologies. This will include online check-in capabilities and room-connectivity. The fitness areas and the boutique will also be expanded and the property will have an extended pool, spa and gym.
Young guests will be able to take advantage of the Princess for a Day experience which will return with what promises to be an even more royal experience. We’re also told that menus will be updated with offerings even extended into the lobby. We also know that a lounge will be added to the property with new food and beverage offerings.
Disneyland Paris has advised that the hotel’s exterior will retain the Victorian splendor that has made it such an iconic Disneyland Paris landmark. However, the facades, roofs and woodwork will be updated as will the hotel’s parking and entryway.
