Currently, Lourd is in Australia celebrating the holidays with Austin Rydell, her fiancé, and their 1-year-old son, Kingston.
In honor of her location, the actress shared a beautiful photo of her at a young age and her mother, who she calls “momby”, with a koala.

The Instagram post really hit home with a lot of people who live with similar grief, as people take to the comments to share their similar experiences also.
Since Fisher’s passing in 2016, her daughter has honored her memory and spirit each year in a variety of ways, including taking a trip to see the Northern Lights in Norway, to performing some of her favorite songs.

There does not seem to be a more fitting way to carry on someone’s legacy, and Billie always shares her experiences doing so on social media for those that feel the loss also- an act that she absolutely does not have to do, considering the very woman she is honoring is her mother.
