Have You Seen The New Trailer For Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
During the hustle and bustle of the holiday week you may have missed the new artwork and teaser trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which has us more excited than ever for this thrilling ride through the multiverse with Doctor Strange, Wong and Wanda Maximoff (AKA Scarlet Witch.)
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that the film is directed by Sam Raimi. Benedict Cumberbatch returns to the role of Doctor Strange with Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo).
We are also delighted that Elizabeth Olsen will be back as Wanda Maximoff and are told that the film will also feature a new fan favorite friend from the comics – America Chavez which will be played by Xochil Gomez.
Check out the teaser trailer below:
The trailer above also made its way into the end credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the teaser Doctor Strange can be seen ignoring Wong’s advice to not cast a spell ultimately realizing that he has tampered with the stability of the spacetime.
If you look closely you’ll see a number of interesting clues as to events that might take place in the film. We see Strange stepping into a mirror dimension, an empty Sanctum Sanctorum as well as Christine Palmers wedding to someone else.
The trailer also shows Strange visiting Wanda to ask for her help regarding the multiverse. And in what is definitely the most important moment in the trailer you hear Mordo saying to strange, “The greatest threat to our universe is you,” just as Strange comes face to face, well, with his face, who smugly states, “Things just got out of hand.”
Don’t miss Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which will open in US theaters on May 6, 2022. Readers are also encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Marvel news and updates!
