Get a First Look at the ‘Book of Boba Fett’ with New Clip
It isn’t long before Book of Boba Fett makes its official debut on Disney+ and to celebrate People magazine got an exclusive first look at a clip from the series!
For those unfamiliar, the latest Star Wars series will be arriving at Disney’s streaming network on December 29, 2021. It follows bounty hunters Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) as they fight their way to prominence in the Galaxy’s seedy underbelly ultimately taking control of Jabba the Hutt’s former territory.
Lucasfilm Released an exclusive clip to People which we’ll link to below. In the scene Boba tells Fennec that they’ve got a lot of ground to cover in order to keep the Galactic Empire intact. At this point, Fennec offers to make the rounds for them adding “Jabba rarely left his chambers.”
Bobba then talks about how Jabba “ruled with fear” adding that he will rule with respect instead to which Fennec adds that in these uncertain times ruling with fear may be the better option!
Check out the official clip here.
Fans had a chance to reconnect with beloved Bounty Hunter Boba Fett in The Mandaloran where he was joined by Fennec in Season 2. Disney’s new spin-off series will focus on his journey and was teased in the post-credits scene of the Mandalorian second season finale which aired late last year.
Though the cast is giving little away regarding the series, People did have a chance to talking to Wen about her character Fennec. She had this to say about taking on the coveted role, “It’s such a genuinely emotional as well as such a satisfying relief that your character is well received, because the Star Wars fans are very, very strong in their opinions and they know what they like, and it’s great when it matches their expectations.”
Book of Boba Fett premieres Dec. 29 on Disney+.
