BREAKING NEWS: Reopening Date Announced For All Star Sports Resort
We have some exciting Disney World news to share with you this afternoon! Disney has just announced a reopening date for All Star Sports Resort. This beloved value resort has been closed since early 2020 and has been the last of the three All Star properties (and the last resort at Walt Disney World) to reopen. We can confirm that the official opening date is March 31, 2022!
Though it may still seem like a ways away, the reopening is perfect for all those budget-minded travels looking for the perfect resting place for your Summer/Fall 2022 getaways!

As you can see from the post above, the resort will be available to book STARTING TOMORROW December 22, 2021. This means that there’s still time to surprise the family this holiday season with a Disney vacation for 2022!
For those unfamiliar, All Star Sports is one of three All Star Resorts. The others are All Star Movies and All Star Music. All three properties are adjacent to one another.
As its name implies, this value property is a tribute to the world of competitive sports with themed sections including: baseball, basketball, football, surfing and tennis.
The property features a central pool with a surfboard motif that kids are sure to love. There is an adjacent kiddie pool nearby. There’s also the Grand Slam pool area which is shaped like a baseball diamond and features a Goofy Fountain that squirts water at swimmers.
You can kick off the morning or end the day with some delicious eats and treats from the End Zone which is the food court at All Star Sports. You’ll find everything from burgers and pizzas to cupcakes and smoothies. There’s also TVs showcasing popular cartoons and sporting events in the food court to keep you entertained.

Guests can expect accommodation similar to what you’ll find at All Star Movies with a 1 Queen Bed and 1 Queen-Size Table Bed. A limited number of King Beds should also be available upon request.
Rooms at All Star Sports are currently being advertised as an average of $164 per night. This may change depending on day of the week and time of year.
