5 TV Recommendations For the Week Ahead
As we ease ourselves into the holiday week, I’m sure you’ll be looking for some downtime to relax and unwind. So take a break from Christmas shopping, baking or cleaning and chill out with one (or all) of these five awesome recommendations for TV shows coming your way this week.
The Bachelorette—Tuesday, December 21, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
It’s the end of Michelle Young’s journey and you definitely won’t want to miss this season finale. Will she choose Brandon or Nayte? A lot depends on how things go when her parents and sister join her in Mexico to meet her top two. Then there’s one final chance for the bachelors to bring their A game before Michelle makes her choice. Stay tuned to see if her pick ends in a proposal!
Oh, an be sure to stick around afterwards for After the Final Rose hosted by Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe at 10pm ET on ABC.
Hawkeye—Wednesday, December 22, on Disney+
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you may have seen the news that Yelena will be showing up for the season conclusion of Hawkeye and trust me when I say that you won’t want to miss it! In the finale, Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) meet the man at the top—the one Clint had been worried about all along. Expect run-ins from Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) they archers must now face their biggest threat yet.
Dragons: The Nine Realms—Thursday, December 23, on Hulu
The Nine Realms takes place 1,300 years after the events of How to Train Your Dragon. During this time, dragons are now just a legend to the modern world. After a geological anomaly opens a fissure in the Earth’s surface. Scientists gather to study this strange phenomenon. Brought to the site by their parents, the kids find out the real truth about dragons and where they’ve been hiding.
You won’t want to miss this Hulu Original series premiere featuring an all-star voice cast that includes Julia Stiles (Olivia Kullersen), Jeremy Shada (Tom Kullersen), D’Arcy Carden (Linda), and Ashley Liao (Jun Wong), to name a few.
Olaf’s Frozen Adventure—Friday, December 24, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
It wouldn’t be the holiday season without our Frozen friends. In this special, Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad), Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) are celebrating the holidays. However, they soon realize that unlike many of the citizens of Arendelle, they don’t have any holiday traditions. Determined to have a very special Christmas, Olaf sets out on an adventure to collect the best and most merry traditions for his new family!
Prep & Landing—Friday, December 24, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC
Our favorite high-tech team of elves are back and ensuring that homes around the world are prepared for Santa’s visit. However, when an elf named Wayne (Dave Foley) doesn’t get the promotion he had hoped for and is paired with rookie Lanny (Derek Richaradson) the duo are pushed to their limits and the future of Christmas could be at stake.
You can even make this show a double-feature as Disney Prep & Landing 2: Naughty vs. Nice will also run on ABC on Friday at 9:30!
