Savor the Savanna Returns to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
In an epic holiday surprise, Walt Disney World Resort announced earlier today the return of an abundance of exciting Enchanting Extras. For foodies, the return of Savor the Savanna at Disney’s Animal Kingdom definitely brings the return of the most scrumptious tour option.
Savor the Savanna takes guests deep into the Harambe Wildlife Reserve to a special outdoor seating area situated at the center of the grassland. Once at the dining pavilion, guests enjoy an array of African-inspired cuisine as well as regional wines and beers.
Throughout the experience, trained safari guides also share stories of the Harambe residents, inclduing the incredible giraffes that often walk by the private eating area. Fans of the cuisine at Jiko, Boma, and Sanaa will want this on their Disney Dining Bucket List.
Those traveling to the Savor the Savanna meal experience also experience a rugged ride on a private safari vehicle en route to their destination. Because of the nature of the ride, Disney does recommend that guests “be in good health and free from high blood pressure; heart, back or neck problems; motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not participate,” according to the Savor the Savanna page on Walt Disney World’s website.
