New Magic Kingdom Baby Care Center Opens Doors
After an extensive refurbishment, Magic Kingdom cast members at the Baby Care Center there celebrated a much anticipated re-opening recently. Themed now to match the Victorian aspects of the buildings around the respite, the “Alice in Wonderland”-themed Baby Care Center offers a wealth of comforts for families during the Magic Kingdom day.
“Guests who venture down the rabbit hole into this updated space will find a charming Victorian oasis themed to “Alice in Wonderland” complete with a private nursing room, kitchenette area and playful family room. It’s sure to be a wonderland for visiting families!” according to a post yesterday on the Walt Disney World Cast and Community Facebook page.
The Magic Kingdom Baby Care Center sits tucked between Crystal Palace and Casey’s Corner just off of Main Street U.S.A. at the hub. The space offers a wealth of amenties, including a generally private space.
Rocking chairs provide comfort in private nursing rooms. Staff also assist with the self-service on-site shop, which offers baby food, formula juices, diapers, formula, wipes, select over-the-counter medicines, clothing, and other needs that may arise during a day at the parks with a wee one. Microwaves, changing stations, feeding areas and sitting areas also offer much needed assistance to families.
Each Disney theme park houses a Baby Care Center for complimentary use during a family’s visit. During this renovation, the Magic Kingdom Baby Care Center moved temporarily to Tomorrowland to accomodate the enormous overhaul. Providing tranquil spaces to families with little ones, the Baby Care Center at EPCOT is located near the Odyssey, Hollywood Studios’ space sits at the front of the park at Guest Relations, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s space sits to the left of the Tree of Life prior to the bridge to Africa.
