Building of the Disney Wish Reaches Major Milestone
We are getting closer and closer the Inaugural Season of the Disney Wish to kick off. The first sailing of the Disney Wish is scheduled for June 9, 2022 and with that day quickly approaching, the building of the much-anticipated ship has just hit a major milestone.

Per Walt Disney Imagineering, Meyer Werft, the shipyard tasked with the construction of the Disney Wish just recently raised the last block of this ship into place. This is such a major milestone as this is the overall building of the ship as from a construction point of view, this signals the overall building of the ship is now complete.
Before the Disney Wish lives dry dock, all that needs to be done now is the interior outfitting, installation of the prefabricated staterooms and systems, as well as commissioning.

Once all of the construction and building of the Disney Wish is complete, it will undergo sea trails before being officially delivered to Disney Cruise Line next year.
When the ship begins offering passenger cruises on June 9, 2022, it will call Port Canaveral, Florida home. Port Canaveral is located just 45 minutes to the east of Orlando and Walt Disney World making it the perfect cruise ship to enjoy a land and sea vacation!

The Wish will offer 3- and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas and Disney’s Castaway Cay.
Once it hits the waters, the Disney Wish will also be one of the most innovative ships to debut in cruising history. Passengers will experience memorable moments that will last a lifetime with everything from a Frozen-themed dining room to all-new adults-only spaces never seen before on a Disney Cruise Line ship.
