Princesses, Jack Skellington Surprise in Two Interactive Advent Calendars
With Black Friday well underway, today marks the official start of the holiday shopping season. For those still looking for the perfect way to countdown to the holidays, Insight Editions released two clever new advent calendars featuring two very popular Disney brands: The Disney Princess Collection and Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
The Disney Princess Enchanted Christmas: Official Pop-Up Advent Acalendar presents captivating way to count down to the holiday with icons from all of the Disney Princess favorites.
Rapunzel’s frying pan, Tiana’s water lily and even Cinderella’s enchanted glass slipper all surprise whomever opens each compartment. The beautifully packaged pop-up also includes a book with DIsney Princess trivia. Due to its design, the calendar can also be reused in later years.
Written by Jessica Ward and illustrated by Giuseppe Di Maio, the new book retails for $39.99.

Laid out with a series of pockets, those who bring Jack and Sally into their Christmas countdown this year will find the short stories, ornaments and daily surprises as shocking as the film itself.
Some envelopes open to reveal stickers and note cards whereas others surprise with trivia and fun facts from the film enclosed in minibooks. Others take on clever new versions of holiday classics.
The sturdy and oversized advent calendar comes packaged as a book, which ironically balances the frightening aspects of Jack, Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie and their fellow Halloween Town residents with the Santa Hats, ornaments, gifts and other classic symbols of the Christmas season.
