Join the Hanukkah Celebration at Festival of the Holidays!
For those visiting EPCOT during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, its no ALL about Christmas. As a matter of fact you’ll find Hanukkah-focused entertainment and food as well!
Disney has a stage set up in the World Showcase that features a Hanukkah Storyteller throughout the day.
The times the storyteller is out are 12:05 pm, 12:45pm, 1:45 pm, 2:45 pm, 4:05 pm, 5:05pm, 6:05 pm, 6:50pm.
There’s also a great display near the storyteller stage that talks in brief about the celebration!
If you want to come check out a performance for yourself then be on the lookout for these blue banners.
There’s also a beautiful Mennorah on the stage.
Menorahs can also be found on the blue Festival of the Holidays banner.
In the area, you’ll also find the L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen!
As someone who lived in New York City for many years, this is one of my favorite Holiday Kitchen for a taste of home!
Menu items include:
Food:
- Pastrami on Rye with House-made Pickles and Deli Mustard
- Smoked Salmon Potato Latke (gluten/wheat-friendly)
- Potato Latkes (plant-based and gluten/wheat-friendly)
- Sufganiyot: Mini Jelly-filled Donuts
- Black and White Cookie (plant-based, cookie stroll item)
These beverages are also on offer:
- Shmaltz Brewing Company Hanukkah Beer, Clifton Park, NY
- Blue Cosmo Cocktail
You’ll find this Holiday Kitchen and storytelling area between the Morocco and France Pavilions at EPCOT’s World Showcase.
We just had to give some of these treats a try. Here’s a first look at the Pastrami Sandwich along with the Salmon Latkes.
These dishes are perfectly presented.
There’s also some delightful sweet treats like a trio of mint jelly donuts and New York City’s famous Black and White cookies!
The kitchen was bustling during our afternoon visit.
The marbled bread and perfect pickle slice brought me back to my Lower East Side days!
The Pastrami was piled high making this a great Holiday Kitchen item that eats like a meal.
We opted for the meat-less version of the potato latkes which were equally as wonderful.
We were impressed with the dishes here and are sure it will be one of the fan favorites so try eating during off-peak times to avoid the crowds!
