FIRST LOOK: Passport for EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has officially kicked off Disney friends and MickeyBlog is there! We’re coming to you LIVE! from the festivities this morning and to kick off our coverage we wanted to give you a first look at the Festival Passport for 2021.
For those unfamiliar, the passport is a must-have for guests visiting during the festival.
Inside you’ll find entertainment guides, menus and so much more!
The passport is divided into sections covering: Fun for Kids of All Ages, Festive Merchandise, Entertainment and Holiday Kitchens.
If you’re traveling with little ones in tow then be sure to take part in the Holiday Cookie Stroll where you try out different cookie treats from the Holiday Kitchens and if you try them all, you get a special treat!
On the page below you get a sneak-peek of some of the incredible festival merchandise that you’ll want to be on the lookout for. For those completing the Cookie Stroll you can get the adorable cookie jar below. There’s also apparel including new Spirit Jerseys.
As we previously mentioned here at MickeyBlog there is a whole host of fantast holiday entertainment. This includes Joyful! A Celebration of the Season, Canadian Holiday Voyageurs, Father Christmas, Pere Noel, Hanukkah Storyteller, Daruma Storyteller, Santa Claus, La Befana, Chinese Lion Dancers, A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa and a Los Posadas Celebration.
If you have school aged children, the storytellers are not to be missed. It’s a fun and educational way to learn about the way that different cultures celebrate the season.
We are so pleased to announce that the Candlelight Processional is back again this year delighting audiences with the reteilling of the story of the first Christmas. Performances feature choir, orchestra and celebrity narrator.
The guide gives us a rundown of run times as well as the program for the show!
Now we get into my favorite part of the guide which is a look at the awesome items being sold at the Holiday Kitchens around the World Showcase!
The front of the guide provides a legend for those looking for plant-based and allergy-friendly items.
One of our favorites from last year, the Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie is back.
Look how absolutely beautiful the Maple Buche de Noel looks from the Yukon Holiday Kitchen.
If you’re looking for a quick savory treat to tide you over I love the Moroccan Bread with Hummus and Fig Tapenade.
Kids are sure to love the Mini Pumpkin Pie Funnel Cake NOW available at the American Adventure. It comes topped with Ice Cream whipped Cream and Graham Cracker Crumbles!
You’ll find a ton of adult beverages including wine, ciders, cocktails and even spiked hot cocoa – Yum!
A great example of a cocktail that we can’t wait to try is the Cranberry- Cinnamon Margarita being served up at Los Posadas near the Mexico Pavilion. It mixes Apple-Cinnamon infused Mezcal, Cranberry Juice, Orange Liqueur, Lime Juice and a Cinnamon Sugar rim!
It wouldn’t be the holidays with out some chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Thankfully Disney has a holiday kitchen for that!
We’ve got a sweet tooth which is why we expect to be frequenting the Donut Box quite a lot this holiday season.
The back pack, aside from offering a guide to the incredible programs coming to Freeform this holiday season, also has helpful tools to get you started on the Christmas Cookie Stroll.
