AP Exclusive Cup, Four Holiday Donuts Treat EPCOT Guests
The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays opened its delightful collection of food stands today, and the four new donuts at The Donut Box certainly pack an abundance of seasonal tastes. On top of that, the popular World Discovery snack stop also debut a brand-new, Annual Passholder-exclusive holiday cup to accompany Donut Box’s Gingerbread-themed shake.
Filled to the brim with a Gingerbread Milk Shake, the new plastic cup features Mickey Mouse celebrating the new throwback look at EPCOT as well as her darling Minnie Mouse.
The Walt Disney World logo wraps between the two characters dressed in their classic cartoon ensembles.
The font used throughout the cup is not only a retro rememberance of the original logos at Walt Disney World Resort, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, but also a celebration of the wealth of vintage merchandise popping up for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
Sweet Seasonal Donuts and Shakes
Though the cup requires an annual pass, the Gingerbread Milkshake does not. Guests do have a choice to have a non-alcoholic version or another option that includes whipped cream vodka. The book also serves a Guiness Gingerbread Stout during the festival.
Four new donuts debuted today with an emphasis on those December flavors, though one Pumpkin Cake Donut with Pumpkin Spice Icing also still remains on the menu in a nod to yesterday’s Thanksgiving festivities.
A new Holiday Donut features coconut and crips pearls in a fancy symbol of the dazzling wreath-based decorations of the holidays.
For those with a need for chocolate, the Donut Box also now features a Chocolate Peppermint Donut topped, of course, with a miniature Candy Cane.
Rounding out the collection, the decadent Eggnog and Cream-filled Donut includes a rich cinammon icing and crumbled gingersnap cookies speckled throughout the top.
The donuts are priced at $5.00 per sweet treat, and the Gingerbread Milk Shake begins at $4.50 for the non-alcoholic version.
The Donut Box is located between the old MouseGear building and the exit to Test Track. The area is in a new neighborhood called World Discovery.
