‘Hawkeye’ Rotten Tomatoes Score Arrives as Marvel Hits the Mark with Newest Series
One of the most anticipated series from Marvel’s Phase Four Disney+ exclusive titles, and the last of them to feature a character from the original Avengers film; the Hawkeye Rotten Tomatoes score arrives as Marvel may have another hit on their hands.
The series currently sits at an 87% Fresh rating on the go-to website for film and television lovers; a score that puts it among the best Marvel series to date.
With its combination of heart, humor, and holiday antics Hawkeye is shaping up to be added to every Christmas watchlist this winter.
Being lauded as one of Marvel’s most grounded projects; Hawkeye follows the adventures of the original six Avengers Clint Barton in his time after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Perhaps the primary focus of the series- apart from the exploration into more of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton through this story- is the introduction to one of Marvel comics’ most beloved characters; Kate Bishop.
Introduced in the acclaimed Hawkeye comic by Matt Fraction- for which the newest series is based- Bishop is known for her comedic presence, capability as an archer, and personality that so perfectly balances out Barton.
Bringing life to the role is none other than Hailee Steinfeld, who maintains a lot of the charisma, charm, and comedic timing that is perfect for the character.
Marvel’s Phase Four has been about the studio’s commitment to redefining exactly what many would consider the patented “Marvel Mold.”
With Hawkeye, this charge should be no different; with the same humor and action of a typical Marvel title, but introducing a groundedness that hasn’t truly been seen from the studio since their stint with Netflix on their various series.
We do know one thing; Hawkeye works with audiences and critics alike.
We know that early reactions to the series have been immensely positive, and as the Hawkeye Rotten Tomatoes score arrives, we can now safely say that the studio may have another massive hit on their hands.
