Disneyland’s ‘it’s a small world’ Could Be Closed for a Significant Period of Time
Sad news for Disneyland goers. The classic ride ‘it’s a small world’ could be closed indefinitely. Earlier this month, ‘it’s a small world‘ was closed down to an accidental flooding problem.
This issue was caused when the waterways were being refilled after putting up holiday decorations.

Cast Members report that the leaking occurred in the early hours of November 10th and was not discovered until many hours later.
By that time, the water had filled up the basement levels of the attraction and the basement stockroom for the adjacent Small World Toyshop.

Some of the machinery was damaged as a result of the flooding. Disneyland hasn’t spoken on this much, but since the ride didn’t reopen for the holiday season, there’s much speculation that it will remain closed for quite some time.
