“The sculpture festival was originally scheduled to open in July, but it was delayed due to a typhoon, which damaged the works already created, [Central News Agency] reported. … Fulong Beach, which has an area of 60,000 square meters, reopened to beachgoers in August, according to the [organizer, Fullon Hotel],” stated an article published in Taiwan News.

Among the intricate works, Joe Gardner and therapy cat Mr. Mittens from the animated feature film “Soul” starred in a skyline-bordered piece as they walked across piano keys.

The marigolds of “Coco” dotted the bottom of a sculpture dedicated to the remakrable film with pet dog Dante entertained by Miguel and his lost great-great-grandfather Héctor Rivera.
