The Lobby at Port Orleans French Quarter Gets A Holiday Transformation
During the holiday season at Walt Disney World, a huge “to-do” is made of the stunning Christmas decorations up in the lobby of many of Disney’s deluxe resorts. But, let’s not underestimate some of Walt Disney World’s other properties.
There’s a whole lot to celebrate over at Port Orleans French Quarter. Not only is this beloved moderate property NOW open but it looks positively stunning for the season.
There’s something about the wrought iron work in the main lobby that lends itself so well to Christmas décor.
And just look at all of those magnificent colors!
The property was looking absolutely stunning this morning with lots of stunning greenery winding their ways up the poles.
And as you would expect the holiday decorations also include lots of New Orleans touches. Wreaths are decorated in the classic Mardi Gras colors of purple, gold and green.
Detailed ornaments bring bold pops of color giving it a festive feel!
There’s also a big tree in the lobby that is definitely photo-worthy. It features and eclectic array of ornaments and if you look closely you’ll see everything from Mardi Gras beads to ornament masks!
If you’ll be at Disney in the weeks ahead, you’ll definitely want to pop over to see this décor in person and pick up some beignets while you’re at it!
