‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Footage Has Finally Arrived in Disney+ Day Special
Disney+ Day has given fans some incredible reveals of upcoming projects; one such reveal is one of the most anticipated series in the lineup, as Obi-Wan Kenobi footage has finally arrived!
Although Marvel definitely won the day, there was a bit of Star Wars footage that should satisfy some appetites; with some incredible facts about the Upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series pointing to just what fans can expect out of the series.
With Ewan Mcgregor reprising his beloved role as the title character, and Deborah Chow being tabbed to direct the project, many fans have high expectations for the series; and rightfully so.
McGregor is often considered one of the best actors to ever take part in a Star Wars film, with his Kenobi considered by many to be in a league of his own; directed by Chow should only aid his performance, as her work on Mr. Robot, The Mandalorian, American Gods, and Better Call Saul speaks for itself.

Although the talent involved is clearly seen, what many fans were unsure about is just what they can expect from the series; and boy did we get that answer.
Chow revealed that the series will follow Kenobi in the time period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope; although this didn’t surprise fans, what did was just who the series would focus on.
McGregor delighted noted that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series would continue to focus on one of the most important relationships in the Star Wars universe; Obi-Wan and his former student, Anakin Skywalker.
What is even cooler is that Darth Vader will, in fact, be portrayed by Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen.
Not only did fans get treated to the fact that Darth Vader would be present in the series, but the focus of the narrative also seems to be on Kenobi and Vaders continued disdain for one another; with McGregor even teasing another possible battle between the two.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have one of the most iconic fight scenes in cinema history, watching them go another round will be magical.
