BREAKING: Country Star Eldredge Preps at EPCOT for ABC Holiday Show
A staple of Disney holiday programming for the past few years, country music superstar Brett Eldredge returned to the Walt Disney World Resort today to film segments for this year’s ABC special.
Clad in a velvety teal jacket to complete his festive, dressed-up holiday look, Eldredge lit up on stage throughout the test run.
A true story-teller, the “Wanna Be that Song” singer-songwriter accumulated quite a crowd quickly during his time on the stage.
Today’s rehearsals also gave a glimpse into other portions of this year’s specials. The special television features will be filmed throughout the Disney parks and resorts over the next few days.
Cueing indicated that the Eldredge segment will run nearby a portion of the show featuring “Dancing with Stars” judge Derek Hough. Steven Spielberg’s new “West Side Story,” which premieres December 18th, looks to also have its moment in this year’s holiday programming.
In prior years, Eldredge performed both solo and as a duet partner. Most recently, Meghan Trainor joined for their rendition of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” during last year’s “Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.”
In 2018, Eldredge also performed on the previously recorded “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.”
The stage for Eldredge’s performance definitely pulls from “The Most Magical Celebration” color pallete with tons of blue speckled with gold and EARidescent shades. Eldredge’s sound check was cut short this afternoon due to rain. Stay tuned for more star sightings this week. The stage is also set for recordings later tonight in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom.
