Would You Pay $800 For This Star Wars AT-AT Set?
Boy do we have something EPIC for all you Star Wars fans. The internet is abuzz this morning with the news that LEGO has just released details on the Star Wars set that trumps everything that has come before and it has the $800 price tag to prove it. The company is giving guests a first look at the new AT-AT 6700 piece set that will be available for sale starting on November 26, 2021!
An ambitious endeavor for fans of the Star Wars franchise and LEGO builds, this promises to keep fans busy throughout the entire holiday period. Let’s take a closer look at this extraordinary set:
The AT-AT (75313) is the being dubbed by LEGO as the Ultimate Collector Series.
This build-and-display model features posable legs and head, cannons with realistic recoil action, rotating cannons, bomb-drop hatch and a hook to attach Luke Skywalker’s line just like in the Battle of Hoth.
This incredible creation measures over 25.4 inches high and can be easily opened to view the detailed interior.
The main body has space that can hold up to 40 LEGO minifigures.
The set also includes 9 Minifigures. Those included are as follows: General Veers, Luke Skywalker, Snowtrooper Commander, 4 Snowtroopers and 2 AT-AT Drivers – plus an information plaque to complete a stunning centerpiece.
But that’s not all, there’s also two speeder bikes included and an E-WEB heavy repeating blaster.
You’ll fall in love with this buildable model that features posable legs and head, opening hatches, cannons with realistic action, rotating cannons, bomb-drop hatch and more!
The set, with over 6785 pieces will offer a complex (but rewarding) build. But if you’re new to building LEGO masterpieces don’t worry. LEGO assures fans that the set comes with clear instructions so you can really take your time and tackle this complex project step by step.
Even at that price point, the amount of buzz this set has generated has us thinking that it will be a much sought-after item this Holiday Season. That’s why we recommend you try to pick up yours as close to launch as possible.
Again, the set retails for $799.99 and you can find at at LEGO’s online shop here.
