New ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Poster Teases a Sinister Showdown
The finale of Marvel’s Peter Parker trilogy is coming in just over a month, and theories galore continue to ravage the fandom as a brand new Spider-Man: No Way Home poster teases a Sinister showdown.
Maybe one of the most anticipated films in Marvel’s illustrious history, the continued speculation, and theorization that has occurred over what could unfold during Spider-Man: No Way Home is unparalleled.
It appears, however, that we may have some new information as to what we could see in the trilogy film with a brand new poster teasing some interesting reveals.
The poster displays the MCU’s Peter Parker dressed in full Iron Spider gear, facing off against the villainous Doc Oc that has appeared in the first trailer for the film; there are, however, also some hidden features that could point to other villainous appearances.
Perhaps the most exciting is a return of Sam Raimi’s Green Goblin, displayed in this zoomed-in image of the character that appears on the poster; shared by Twitter user @c4spoilers.
The image displays the same Green Goblin that many of us adore from the Raimi Spider-Man films; portrayed brilliantly by Willem Dafoe, who will likely follow Doc Oc actor Alfred Melina from the Raimi films to the MCU.

With the tentacles of Doc Oc, and the menacing Goblin flying in the distance, fans will also note two very interesting design choices that may point to other appearances in the film.
First is the yellow lightning bolt that is seen in the poster; a depiction that could allude to an appearance by Jaime Foxx’s rumored return as Electro.
Something we have theorized as making an appearance, the yellow lighting has been a common occurrence within the trailer and some of the promotional material.
There is also the presence of what seems to be a sandstorm; something that could point to the return of another Spider-Man movie villain in the form of Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman.
These four hidden easter eggs mirror last month’s Empire Magazine cover; which displays very similar callbacks to several Spider-Man characters.
If we had to guess? We would assume This new Spider-Man: No Way Home poster teases a portion of Spider-Mans infamous rogues gallery team known as the Sinister Six.
Mysterio, teased on the Empire cover, is most likely making an appearance, and will likely be joined by Spider-Man: Homecoming villain Vulture.
These six would bring an interesting villainous presence to the movie if balanced well; and who knows? We could very well see some other heavily rumored characters arrive to give Peter and Doctor Strange some much-needed backup.
