Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs Unveils a New Treat for November
One of my favorite things about ringing in the new month is that it usually means a whole host of new eats and treats at the theme parks and beyond. Here is a great case in point- Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs has introduced a new goodie for November and it is already flying off the shelves.
For those unfamiliar, GIdeon’s is a favorite with our MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa as well as visitors and locals young and old. Guests are smitten with the peanut butter cold brew, 1/2 pound cookies and slightly macabre but magical aesthetic that you’ll find at the Bakehouse.
Let’s take a look at the treats they’re offering up this month:
First up this month is the Chocolate Churro Cookie (aka the Calavera Cookie) this treat is a rich Chocolate Cookie filled with cinnamon sugar and a tiny pinch of ancho and cayenne pepper to give it a bit of a smoky warm finish. If that isn’t awesome enough, each cookie also features a layer of Dulce de Leche in the middle and the whole thing is topped off with a mix of chocolates including Mexican Stone Ground Chocolate.
Visitors during the weekends can also order up the Pumpkin Caramel Double Frosted Cake. This gorgeous treat features layers of pumpkin and caramel buttercream over a vanilla cinnamon cake!
Gideon’s has also released a limited edition menu postcard it features Calacas with his caption that translates to “Sweeter than Life.”
A word to those thinking about paying a visit to Gideon’s this month, arrive early! Gideon’s is frequently so popular that it has a virtual queue and limited edition items sell out fast!
