Fab 50 Ornaments NOW at shopDisney

If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, you’ll know that one of the highlights of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration was the unveiling of Fab 50 statues across the theme parks.  These golden statues pay tribute to some of our favorite Disney, Pixar and Star Wars characters and can be found across each of the four theme parks. 

Here’s a look at two of our favorites below: 

To celebrate 50 incredible years of Walt Disney World, shopDisney has unveiled a new line of Christmas ornaments that feature a nice assortment of the Fab 50 statues and they’re NOW in stock. We don’t expect them to be around for long so get yours fast. 

Walt Disney World Fab 50 Character Collection Ornament Set – EPCOT

Let’s start our collection with these fabulous 5 from EPCOT.   This set of fully sculpted ornaments represents the characters seen on display at EPCOT>  The set includes Miguel, Rocket Raccoon with Baby Groot, Olaf, and Figment. And then as a bonus, you’ll also find Soul‘s main protagonist Joe Gardner which is on display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

All of the ornaments feature a golden finish and a flat base for table or shelf decoration.  The item has a “50” title on the base as well as a satin ribbon on a lobster claw clasp for hanging.

Walt Disney World Fab 50 Character Collection Ornament Set – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Next, we head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a collection that celebrates 5 of their Fab 50 statues.  The set includes  Woody with Bo Peep, Frozone, Edna Mode, R2-D2, and Sebastian with Flounder. 

All of the ornaments have a golden finish and a flat base for table or shelf decoration.  There’s a satin ribbon and lobster claw clasp for hanging.  There’s even a celebratory 50th Anniversary logo on the base! The collection comes in a commemorative window display box.

Walt Disney World Fab 50 Character Collection Ornament Set – Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Rounding out our trio of Fab 50 ornaments is this quad from Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The set includes Bambi with Thumper, Nemo with Dori, Timon with Pumbaa, and Simba. 

This features the same flat base for table or shelf decoration. It has a commemorative “50” on the base. It features a satin ribbon with lobster claw clasp for hanging.

So where is Magic Kingdom set? Good question. We’ve been monitoring the collection throughout the day and haven’t seen the Magic Kingdom collection. It could be that they’ll be online at a later date or the more likely scenario, that the Magic Kingdom set was the first one to sell out.
