Additional Cast Members Announced For Hocus Pocus 2
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that Disney is using Halloween to tease details about the much anticipated sequel to the beloved film Hocus Pocus which first debuted back in 1993.
As we’ve previously reported, the original Sanderson Sisters will be returning to their roles- Bette Midler as Winifred Sanders, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah Sanders and Kathy Najimy as Mary Sanders. Now, we no even more about casting thanks to a tweet that Disney sent out earlier this afternoon. Let’s take a look:
Joining the cast are Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Doug Jones, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.

The new cast members announced includes:
- Whitney Peak
- Lilia Buckingham
- Belissa Escobedo
- Doug Jones
- Tony Hale
- Sam Richardson
- Hannah Wadingham
- Juju Brener
- Froy Guiterrez,
- Taylor Henderson
- Nina Kitchen.
As of going to print, the roles these actors are cast in hasn’t yet been published.
Fans of the original Hocus Pocus should recognize one familiar name from the list. Doug Jones will be returning. He played the role of zombie Billy Butcherson who rose from the grave in the original film.
We’re also pretty excited about Tony Hale’s involvement in Hocus Pocus 2. Hale was the voice of Forky in the last Toy Story film. Other noteworthy cast members include Same Richardson (Ted Lasso) and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso.)
